Vinay Singh, Director of Anglo- Eastern Ship Management (India), heads the largest crewing operation from India, will be addressing at “The Shipping Tribune Conclave 2014: Facing the Challenges in Manning, Training and Piracy Control” a one day conference on Oct 6th, 2014 at Holiday Inn, Andheri (East), Mumbai. He would be sharing his thoughts on “Challenges of Manning from India”
Capt Singh is an alumni of T.S. Rajendra, who joined Anglo Eastern Ship Management as 3rd Officer in 1986, after completing his apprenticeship with Shipping Corporation of India. After serving on various kind of ship in ascending capacity, he took over command in 1995 and took his first assignment with Safety & Quality department of Anglo-Eastern in 1998. He has been associated with or represented various Industry bodies e.g. Nautical Institute, Chartered Institute of Transport, Chartered Institute of Ship Brokers, Indian council of Arbitrators, Company of Master Mariners, National Welfare Board for Seafarers, National Maritime Board etc. He is also a Director and Ex Chairman of Maritime Association of Ship Owners, Ship Managers & Agents (MASSA).–The Shipping Tribune.
