The Immediate Past National President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Prince Olayiwola on Saturday, 22nd February 2020, gave out his beautiful daughter, Kemi in a traditional wedding in Igboho, Orelope LGA, Oyo State.

The devout Muslim and father, Prince Olayiwola Shittu gave out Kemi, to a God- fearing Christian, Emmanuel from the Rivers State.

The traditional wedding, known in Yoruba parlance as “Alaga Iduro”, showcased a woman as the Chairperson of Occasion, the Mistress of Ceremony (MC), Directress of proceedings, comedian, Theatrician, etc all rolled into one.

The ceremony which specifically took cognizance of the presence of the groom’s background in Rivers State, was interwoven with the two religions of Muslim and Christianity; where prayers, praise songs, music, dances were on display.

The mind blowing, ecstatic and exhilarating occasion, built into a crescendo of fun and refused to be terminated, even after the symbolic cutting of the traditional wedding cake.

The entertainment/refreshments which went pari-pasu, as the wedding procedures was in session, continued into the night with both the highly stocked kitchen and bar remaining inexhaustible.
