Sunshine Queens FC of Akure has expressed readiness to take all three points against Ibom Angels in Wednesday’s Match Day 6 fixture of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).

The first Assistant Coach of the team, Niyi John, expressed the hope in an interview with the newsmen on Monday in Akure.

John said the team would not allow their away victory against Abia Angels in the Match Day 5 fixture to distract them from the goals for the season.

Newsmen report that Sunshine Queens Seun Fakunle’s 33rd minute goal was enough to secure the team’s first away win of the season in Umuahia.

It was also reported that Sunshine Queens are now 7th on the NWFL’s log with seven points from five matches.
