The new chairman, Prince Olawale Mathew Cole, aims to implement proactive procedures for stakeholders, targeting 48-hour cargo clearance. This goal is expected to be facilitated by the integration of B’Odogwu, a Nigeria Customs trade facilitation tool, at the port.

“We are committed to working closely with the Comptroller of the Command and all other government agencies at the port to ensure that our operations are seamless and efficient,” Prince Cole said.
“We will also engage with our members and other stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and work together to address them.”
