Six persons on Wednesday lost their lives in a ghastly accident that occurred within the Ajaokuta Steel Complex in Kogi.
Eyewitnesses told newsmen in Lokoja that three people died on the spot while three others died later in a hospital.
A female victim of the accident said to be in a critical condition was later transferred to the Federal Medical Centre , Lokoja.
Also confirming the accident, Kogi Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Solomon Agure said that 10 people were involved.

He said that three of them died on the spot while six were critically injured.

Agure stated that only one person escaped unhurt from the accident.
He said that the accident involved a Toyota Hiace bus and another vehicle, adding that it occurred around 9:45am.
He said the two vehicles had a head-on collision due to wrongful overtaking on the part of one the drivers.
Agure said the dead victims were believed to be workers of one the ceramic industries in Ajaokuta axis.
