A Tanker, HUA HONG 18 suffered explosion in the early morning of September 26, in Yangtze river in Wuhu area, and resulted in the death of three crew members.

The ship arrived earlier, on September 25, and was moored in area designated for dangerous goods cargo operations.

Three crew who were near explosion site carrying out their work, were badly injured and reportedly, died later, in hospital.
