3 feared dead as Cargo ship sinks in Gulf of Guinea

A Cargo ship, the LCT EVELIA reportefly sank on July 9 in the Bight of Bonny, eastern Gulf of Guinea, while en route from Douala Cameroon to Libreville Gabon.

While the actual reason for the unexpected eventuality was yet to be determined, the vessel, halfway between those two ports reportedly let in water and sank.

Of the 13 crew on board, 10 were reportedly rescued, when the fate of the remaining three could not be fathom. A report by Fleetmon declared them missing.
