Fire erupted in superstructure of general cargo ship VOLGO-BALT 205 (IMO 8230338) at around 0400 Moscow time Sep 27 near Tolyatti city, Volga river, Central Russia.

The ship with some 300 ton of steel constructions on board was en route from S-Petersburg to Astrakhan.

 Fire quickly engulfed all superstructure including living quarters, all 12 crew abandoned the ship. As of 1030 Moscow time fire was still smoldering, superstructure seemingly, burned out and is totally destroyed.
