…As animals become culpable for every crime or offence!***

No woman truly knows her husband, until he becomes wealthy. No man truly knows his wife, until there’s hardship. No Nigerian truly knows the Elite, until President Muhammadu Buhari mounts the throne and put them under adversity. And hungry citizens are smiling for it!

Everyday thing; things that ordinarily would have been easily swept under the carpet, are not just ridiculously hitting the sensibility, they are also insensitively, assaulting our imaginations! Suddenly, the whole country has developed an uncanny hatred for animals, to such a high extent, that the beastly class are made culpable for every crime, sin or offence!

Somebody argued that the Presidency started it all. The President needed rest on arrival from UK medical vacation; one or two able assistants probaby suggested they should utilise this resting period to renovate his office; and since it was when lassa fever was in vogue, they probably said the Office was being worked on, to checkmate the rodents!

Anointing flows from the top!

The story of the rodents was all the elites needed. The sum of N36m has since vanished from a JAMB Office, and the main suspect said it was a Snake! More than three giant snakes have been killed; none of them had anything that looked like partly digested Naira in their intestines!

Ironically, while Nigerians were still reeling in ludicrous disbelief, a revered lawmaker said a more superior lawmaker who failed to produce a whopping N70m kept in his custody, only offered a ‘cock and bull’ story of how  a monkey and it’s cousins pilfered away the money!

Nigerians have responded in styles! First they expressed shock; then unbelief; and then they went in search of the monkey; until they finally found one in Dubai wearing suit during day and drinking wine in the evenings!

Nigeria is a great country if you have a good sense of humour! Everyone can laugh. The poor citizens knows it all. The elites are the problems! Though they fight themselves; their styles, vision and modus operandi still defeats the Marxist contraption, as everything starts and end in personal consideration and group aggrandizement! Though hungry, the masses are laughing.

Only one person cannot laugh: Mr President! Like in quicksand, things are happening too fast!  Every President bears the brunt of the elites! But why now??

First, the Global anti-corruption watchdog, Transparency International ranked Nigeria very low in its 2017 Corruption Perception Index (CPI) released on Wednesday, pegging Nigeria at 148th out of 180 countries, despite all efforts of the regime, to the contrary. In other words, Buhari’s administration mints more corruption than his mocked predecessor’s!

While he is struggling in genuine pains of such inexplicable ‘declaration’, the dreaded group that ‘moulded’ the platform for the fall of Jonathan Goodluck, the Boko Haram, through an alleged abduction of over 200 girls of a Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok in 2014, also struck at Government Girls Science and Tech College, Dapchi in Yobe State; and carted away new set of over 100 girls!

The President knows the meaning. Those shedding crocodile tears would soon turn it into a fad, against the APC.

Didn’t the APC ruthlessly use Chibok Girls abduction against Jonathan?!

A poccupine which saw Shekkau, the Boko Haram kingpin wearing hijab probably also advised him to order his boys, to go for more girls!!

But, why now?!

When the President’s image makers already have their hands full, whitewashing the image: proving that Mr President is totally innocent of the dreaded activities of the Fulani herdsmen! But, why now?!

The police have their hands full with the activities of both the hardened criminals and unemployed graduates trying their lucks in soft crimes!

Why now?!

When the Navy is stretched, battling the pirates in the nation’s waters! While the Army and the Air force have theirs’ already full combating the activities of the ‘totally defeated’ Boko Haram, whose leader is ‘hiding’ in women hijabs; even as his unrepentant boys are daily inflicting unimaginable pains!

Thanks God Uncle Lai Mohammed told us the Boko Haram is totally defeated!

And then, the Dapchii..!

Who knows what next??

Truly, uneasy lies the head that wears the Crown!

Let’s pray for Nigeria! May God protect the nation from its elites!
